Smalltalk Developer, UK

A company in Kent (UK) wants an experienced (2-years+) developer with Smalltalk knowledge to do a couple of Smalltalk development projects.  This is a £250-£275/day contract position, offered via this recruiter.  Full-time working from a south-east UK location is preferred, but working from home with occasional visits to the office is also an option, and someone competent who would work part-time might be considered.

UK, Seaside app

A company in the Midlands UK uses Linux, Apache, Pharo and Postgres, and also Python and C#.  They are looking to recruit. They are looking primarily for Smalltalk because Smalltalk skills are obviously harder to come by. The main web application is built with Seaside. C# is also desirable. Python is used for signal processing algorithm development so any experience in that area is useful.

Chris Bailey works in the team.  If you are interested, email him and he will route your application appropriately.  (cpmbailey is his email name and he is at btinternet and then dot and com.)
