- Required Skills:
- MS in Computer Science or related field such as Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Knowledge and experience in multiple software languages developing and support applications – Java, C++, Python, Smalltalk
- Knowledge on server hardware configuration and Windows and Linux OS.
- Software coding and troubleshooting for Big Data architecture such as Hadoop and its technology elements including HDFS, Spark, HBase, Ambari, YARN, and others are essential.
- Familiar with ML algorithms and techniques being utilized in the Hadoop ecosystem including knowledge of open source practices.
- Use of standard software development program management processes like agile.
- Travel up to 25% may be expected.
- Wanted Skills:
- Advanced degree desirable, but level of work experience also considered.
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience working in software development and support position in high technology company.
- Work history demonstrating good project management, organizational and communication skills working in and leading teams.
- Previous roles demonstrating R&D, new product development and customer facing assignments showing good understanding of both factory & customer needs / issues.
