On May 18th, our database hosting service Dabble db will be shutting down.
As a result, the Smalltalk Jobs Database will be moving.
We don’t yet know where it will be going, or what form it will take, but I and the other volunteers are researching our options for continuing the database. These options include switching to a simple shared blog format, switching to another online database hosting service, to even the possibility of creating a new WebVelocity application for the database.
Currently our hosting on Dabble db is free, so we would prefer a continued low-cost or free option. If you would like to contribute in any way, including with your programming skills, please contact me at the email address at the top of this blog.
