    • Required Skills:
      • Five or more years of experience with both Smalltalk-80 and Scratch or Etoys
      • Developed at least one programming system for novices similar to Etoys or Scratch (for example, BYOB, Styncil, Snap, Tynker etc.)
      • Deep understanding of both class- and prototype-based OOP language design
      • Familiarity with the internals of interpreters for such languages
      • Deep familiarity with the architecture of the Morphic UI framework
      • Be familiar with the ideas of Seymour Papert and the Logo programming language
      • Have a track record of delivering and supporting successful (>10k users) programming environments aimed at novices
      • Have long-standing relationships with the computer science educator community
      • Be a long-term contributor to the Scratch community
      • Be a regular attendee of Scratch conferences
      • Be a regular attendee of CS education conferences such as SIGCSE
      • Have collaborated with academics to explore new approaches to CS education
      • Proven track record of deploying and supporting software with a polished UI with an established user community (with at least a few thousand users), and maintaining that software over time.
      • Be fluent in written and spoken English
    • Wanted Skills:
      • Implementing Morphic or a similar UI framework
